I wish I hadn’t eaten all of these matcha cupcakes already. I need to think of a less sweet frosting than normal buttercream, because my buttercream frosting was too strong for the green tea (and the sugariness masked the lavender I added to the frosting). Cream cheese? Just glaze them with lavender simple syrup and hope it doesn’t just make them soggy?
